MobiBike have chosen this special micro motor of only 33.5cc (most mopeds use 50cc, motorbikes use 250cc & cars over 1000cc). A single cylinder four stroke with proven reliability (4 years of established production in Japan by respected manufacturers - Subaru). 4-stroke engines have considerable advantages over 2-stroke engines, no fuel/oil mixing, quieter, easier starting & cleaner burn. MobiBike have modified the motor to run on environmentally sound bio-ethanol E85 but it can be easily reverted to unleaded petrol operation.

This is a reliable, powerful & lightweight package that is as easy to remove as it is to assemble, only three nuts to tighten & 3 clips. MobiBike have integrated a rear light, horn & engine-kill switch integrated with the throttle lever, all of which is easily clipped to the handlebar.

Sound Profile:
By its very nature the 4-stroke motor configuration is a lot quieter than any 2-stroke that is common in other scooters & mopeds. Our conversion to Bio-Ethanol makes for a quieter & smoother combustion. MobiBike offer a custom secondary exhaust & cover which reduce the decibel output by upto 8dBA. The sound output ranges from 65dBA at tickover to 90dBA at full throttle when measured 1.2metres from exhaust outlet.
